I had some fun creating my
wiki and was inspired by the article that I read,
"A Day in the Life of Web 2.0" by David Warlick. There are so many resources out there and effective ways to use them in your classroom, but sometimes it is a bit overwhelming. So, I decided to make a wiki where I could collaborate with others to create a list of ways to use Web 2.0 resources in the classroom. Check it out and add your own ideas!
Amanda, I like your idea for using Podcasts to provide a reproduction of the day's lesson to students who are absent. That could be especially helpful for my Spanish classes--if a student misses a whole lesson in Spanish, it's hard to have him/her make it up at lunch or after school!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea to have a site that others can add their web 2.0 ideas to. Such a relevant use of a wiki, especially for those of us who are just beginning to think about how these new types of technology can be integrated in the classroom to improve student learning. I hope you get lots of great ideas!
