Professional Learning Plan

Below is my Professional Learning Plan which highlights what I have learned so far in my MSU courses, how I plan to use the skills and tools I have acquired, and what I plan to learn in the future.

  1. WOW AMANDA! Totally amazing Prezi! I like that you also added a podcast portion. I listened while I clicked through, and it was a neat way to add your REAL voice to the presentation. Great use of images, layering, etc. Also, good job making your prezi "text light". Great goals for your continued learning and nice job using multiple tools to present your plan! :) :) :)

  2. Holy Smokes! Your Prezi skills are stellar! Your ideas seem appropriate and well planned. I too thought it was cool that you added the podcast portion. It adds some differentiation to your presentation. I've never heard of Podomatic, but would like an opportunity to learn it and possibly use it. Is it a free resource?
Your prezi was well done and text light, as Wheatley said. Cleverly done. I think you effectively said what you needed to say without being too wordy. I am honestly jealous that I wasn't more creative. I avoided being visually wordy by narrating my professional learning plan, but suppose the narration is still a cop out for creativity. Well done and good luck!

  3. Abby, I actually heard about Podomatic from Chuck when I was completing my Implementation podcast. The free version gives you 500MB of storage and the pro version ($9.99/month) gives you 2GB of storage. For what I am using it for the free version is plenty. It is really user friendly and did not take long to upload my podcasts.

Thanks for the comments ladies!! :)

  4. Hi Amanda! I am equally impressed with your Prezi. I have made a Prezi before, but you went way above and beyond and made some really connections with symbols and text locations. I loved the "key" with the actual KEY! =)

Great job on the podcast as well - get addition since it was cool to listen to you talking while viewing your Prezi. Good luck in the future and thanks for all your work on the Group Leadership Project!
